Art is hard and you never cease to learn something new everyday. There is no artist that hasnt encountered a wall, dont turn around, climb it. Believe you can.

I’ve received a lot of letters from artists asking to check out their artwork and their blog, and I’ve noticed that a lot of them openly write unhealthy amounts of negative comments about their artwork, it was super depressing, honestly.  :(
Confidence plays a very very important role as an artist, it’s what helps us learn and grow without the constant feeling of doubt and jealousy!  You are a unique individual who must go down your own unique path, and as scary as it sounds, you can’t rely on others to hold your hand all the way through.  You are the only one who can get yourself to where you need to go, and beating up your artwork is not the way!  Trust yourself and your abilities to make a change, and you can do anything!!

Love your art, love yourself!

Went to see HTTYD2 today, so I decided to upload this slightly old, quick sketch of Vlad as a dragon. First time inking one of my drawings traditionally, I really enjoyed it! (and the film) It’s nice to return to drawing after such a long break. Feedback is very much appreciated :3Should I colour it?

This has been something that has been bothering me for the past few years, every time I encounter someone who’s just started as an artist, they put themselves down because they’re intimidated by artists who are more experienced.  Intimidation is something that every artist has (or will) encounter in their lives, and they need to pull through that fear in order to grow as an artist.  Take that intimidation and be inspired about it.  What makes it intimidating?  What makes their work look so unique?  That’s where your learning opportunistic moments will occur, you find those reasons and you create something new out of all that you’ve learned!
I believe that anyone, ANYONE, can become an artist.  It takes dedication and determination, but I promise you that drawing is one of the most rewarding art forms I’ve ever experienced.  You will always learn something new with it, therefore, the fun never stops!

I seen this artist’s work months ago and finally could place a name to them!  Great work, and excellent, excellent message!

Anonymous asked: How does Vlad feel about all this Ukraine conflict? Is he a fighter or a lover?

Is that you, Charles? :3

I don’t think Vlad would be too bothered, not unless it impacted upon him in some way. He’s far too focused on his own projects! However, he has a strong sense of fairness, so it would definitely irk him somewhat, even if it didn’t sufficiently motivate him to do anything about it.

If, however, it caused something like his supply chain being interrupted, there would be absolute carnage. Many ungulate punches would be thrown!
